The Cibuaya Beach is only 5 minutes away by car from the resort we stayed in Turtle Beach Resort. There are so many lodge in the area, but there was no really resort around Cibuaya Beach, made this area looks so "untouch" and very very beautiful.
There were not many people on the beach, but there were plenty of people fishing in the middle of the sea, I have never seen something like this before.
Our kiddos requested to swim on the beach at 11 am! Thanks to the sunblock:p They were all so happy!
Local people were really nice and friendly, they didn't approach visitor just like in other commercial beaches to offer their stuff. There were coconut seller, we bought one for only IDR 5,000, for one whole coconut! So cheap. The only tourist trap will be the ice cream seller, but I understood that they had to take the ice cream km away and had to provide the cooler box.
Yes it was 7 hours drive one way from Jakarta, but it was really worth the trip! Having seen this beautiful beach will make you forget the long journey that you have been through. Come and visit Ujung Genteng, you will fall in love with all of the beaches :)
